I have been involved in the work of FOL for many years and presently serve as a volunteer director on the board. I can safely say my journey with FOL has been the greatest privilege of my working life.

FOL with its Christian ethos as its bed rock brings much support to the people of East Africa in terms of education, fresh water and health. In return the people of East Africa bring a warmth of character and offer an outlook on life that is truly humbling and inspiring for all who they come in contact with.

Part of my role is to take people from here to East Africa for short trips to experience a flavour of life in Africa with all its difficulties and delights. Sharing with the travelling teams of lives changed through the work of FOL and understanding how many more can be changed is an amazing privilege and opportunity. It takes so little in our terms to make such an incredible difference in rural Africa. I can thoroughly recommend this short journey which just might change your life also!!
